Quinn and Laura Crawford are both lifelong Mississippians, born and raised in Jackson. They were married in 2016 and are the parents of four children: Penelope, Whit, Lois, and Archie.
Today, the Crawfords live in the city center of Chișinău, Moldova, where they are serving alongside Chișinău Reformed Church.
Quinn’s Story
Quinn grew up in the church and professed faith in Christ at an early age. Over the years, he has seen the Lord’s faithfulness in keeping and shaping him through His Word and the ministry of the local church.
His experience in ministry has deepened his desire to invest in people through discipleship, hospitality, and life in the local church.
Laura’s Story
Laura grew up attending both a Baptist church and a Mormon temple, which impressed upon her from an early age the importance of knowing the truth of Scripture for herself.
She came to know Christ personally at eight years old during Vacation Bible School. As a teenager, Laura went on her first mission trip to Moldova, where the Lord began to give her a lasting love for the country and a desire to see the gospel take root there.
Laura later earned a degree in Women’s Ministry Leadership from Moody Bible Institute and has a particular passion for discipling and encouraging women in their walk with Christ.
A Shared Heart for Missions
From the beginning of their marriage, Quinn and Laura have shared a desire to serve the church through ministry and missions.
During their first year of marriage, they traveled together to Moldova on a medical mission trip. That experience strengthened Laura’s long-standing desire to serve in Moldova and gave Quinn a growing burden for the people and the church there.
Over the years, they also served in a variety of ministry settings, including neighborhood outreach in South Jackson, ministry to women affected by sex trafficking, and partnership with a local church in Central Asia.
In 2019, they began seriously considering how the Lord might lead their family toward long-term ministry in Moldova.
Ministry Experience at Sunnybrook
From 2020 to 2023, Quinn and Laura served as house parents at Sunnybrook Children’s Home, working closely with transitional-age youth.
Living and ministering alongside young people day after day gave them valuable experience in discipleship, hospitality, counseling, conflict, family life, and walking with people through both ordinary life and difficult circumstances.
That season became an important part of their preparation for long-term ministry.
Serving in Moldova
In August 2026, the Crawfords moved to Chișinău, Moldova, where they now live in the city center and serve with International Xchange Organization (IXO) alongside Chișinău Reformed Church.
Their ministry is centered on the life of the local church and includes discipleship, hospitality, outreach, building relationships, and serving alongside the congregation. They are also studying Romanian as they seek to become increasingly rooted in the church and community.
Their desire is to serve faithfully for the long term and to help strengthen Christ’s church in Moldova.

2. Electronic Funds Transfer (ACH)
ACH is one of the most efficient ways to give, especially for recurring support. ACH transfers generally have lower processing costs than credit card transactions, which helps more of your gift go toward supporting our ministry in Moldova.
The IXO ACH form may be used for either a one-time or monthly contribution.
Click Here to Download the ACH Authorization Form, complete it, and email it along with a voided check or deposit slip to Tammy Bacon at tbacon@ixoglobal.org.
You may also call Tammy Bacon at (423) 432-5177 for assistance.
3. Online Giving
Online giving is a convenient option for one-time or recurring support. Because credit card transactions generally involve higher processing costs than ACH, donors who would like to maximize the amount of their gift reaching the ministry may wish to consider ACH.
Click Support the Crawfords to give through IXO.
Tax-Deductible Giving: Gifts made through IXO by check, ACH, or the official online giving link are tax-deductible. Personal gifts sent directly through Venmo or PayPal are separate from IXO.
