Paul is a dual degree graduate (MDiv/MA) of Reformed Theological Seminary. He was born in Moldova and has a background in software engineering. He was ordained in the European presbytery of the International Presbyterian Church.
Elizabeth is from San Diego. She was interested in missions from a young age. Before they were married, she spent a few years dancing with Ballet Magnificat and teaching ballet to young children. She is now fluent in Romanian, takes care of the kids at home, disciples women in the church, and loves living overseas.
God called Paul to seminary training in order to become a minister of the gospel. The need for disciple-makers is great in Moldova, but the workers are few. While completing his studies, Paul was involved in ministry at Baptist and Presbyterian churches in Jackson. In those years the Lord has shaped Paul’s theology, grown his character, and clarified his call. He returned to Moldova to invest his life into pastoral ministry and into building up the larger church.
Paul pastors Chișinău Reformed Church, in the capital city of Moldova, works in outreach with university students, helps edit theological resources in Romanian, teaches at intensive study days for Baptist churches in Moldova, and mentors aspiring pastors in Romania and Belarus.
They were sent out and endorsed by First Presbyterian Jackson, serving with the International Xchange Organization.
